The Viewing: Muses of Nedda Afsari
Lethal Amounts Gallery:
1226 W 7th St, Los Angeles, CA 90017
July 21st 2018
Nedda Afsari (Muted Fawn) is an LA based, Iranian raised photographer. She explores themes of liberation, power, control, self awareness and exploration; all while celebrating and traversing the diverse realms of the divine feminine and human sexuality.
Afsari often combines her love of music and film to create intense and fascinating dreamscapes for her subjects to explore.
She photographed St. Vincent for her album “Masseduction”, works closely with the record label Dais and was featured by Playboy magazine who described her work as a celebration of “the space between fetish and fragility”.
Her first solo exhibit opened on July 7th, 2018 at Lethal Amounts Gallery in downtown Los Angeles. We are celebrating her successful first show with a closing ceremony on Saturday, July 21st.
